We’ve done our best to develop a simple V8 engine conversion solution for offroad builds of a Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, and Gladiator JT, however installation is an involved process. We strongly suggest using the services of a professional. A reputable independent automotive shop that specializes in offroad builds of Jeep vehicles is more likely to have specific experience, equipment, and up-to-date information about your project vehicle. Experience with engines and transmissions, especially electronics and professional OBDII diagnostic equipment (i.e. Autel, etc.) can be very helpful in diagnosing any codes/concerns that could develop during a conversion. These concerns usually happen due to unplugging and then plugging in a new harness. The older factory body harness connections and wiring can crack or break. Also, previously installed aftermarket electrical accessories can cause challenges. Although these are usually simple to fix, they can be hard to find without proper diagnostic equipment.
