This kit will transform your life by adding Bruiser’s bolt-in combination of legendary power and reliability from the GM Performance small-block V8 engine family attached to a stronger 8-speed TorqueFlite Transmission into the adventurous go-anywhere attitude of your Jeep JL.

Fully Integrated with JL:

The flawless Bruiser Conversions’ LX3 V8 engine and stronger 8-speed conversion for Jeep Wrangler JL maintains all functionality of the original equipment manufacturers (OEM) vehicle safety, comfort, and on-board diagnostic systems.  All instruments, indicators, gauges, and powertrain control systems (cruise control, hill descent mode, tip start, and tap shift) will work in the same manner as they did when the vehicle rolled off the assembly line. Factory functions are fully integrated with the Bruiser LX3 V8 engine and stronger 8-speed conversion for Jeep Wrangler JL system.

8-speed Transmission:

Most Jeep Wrangler JL vehicles come equipped with the Chrysler Torqueflite 8 automatic transmission (ZF design) 850RE with a rated input torque capacity of 500 N-m (370 ft-lb). Bruiser has developed a fully integrated transmission upgrade to the stronger Chrysler Torqueflite 8 automatic transmission (ZF design) 8HP75. The 8HP75 has a rated input torque capacity of 750 N-m (550 ft-lb). This stronger transmission has been in use across the MOPAR fleet behind the 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi engines and has a proven history of performance and durability.  Bruiser has engineered the necessary adapters to connect the Bruiser Power LX3 performance crate engine conversion system with the 8-speed 8HP75 transmission; all transmission functions have been integrated with the Jeep’s OEM software and control systems.

New LT engine conversions have replace the LS engine swap:

GM has released their best small-block V8 engine yet with the Gen-V LT engine family! Therefore, the production of older generation GM LS engine blocks has all but halted. The LS3 crate engine from GM Performance is no longer available. No worries, we have the solution! Our friends at Bruiser Power Solutions designed, tested, and released the LX3 V8 crate engine, an LT-based engine with port injection using a Gen-IV operating system. It’s a 6.6L torque monster without all limited tuning and RPM restrictions of the factory direct injection.

The life-changing result, Bruiser Conversions now offers a complete, bolt-in, and fully-integrated LX3 V8 crate engine with an upgraded 8-speed transmission kit for your JL project!

How do you make it run off of a Chrysler computer?

We start off converting the engine to our own reluctors to facilitate communication with the Chrysler computer. Most of the internal sensors and everything external on the motor that communicates with the ECM are Chrysler based. By doing that, it gave us the capability of maintaining all of the Jeep factory options for the vehicle as if it were coming off the showroom floor.

**This conversion is intended for off-road use only**
